Elizabeth O., Feb 14, 2009, 11:36PM ESTHello Pat - I agree with your comment on the maggoty mushrooms. Yes, there was a time when we'd eat some creepy crawlies in our food and not worry about it. As for hygiene, our houses are so clean that our children don't build up the necessary immunities they should. I've always heard that children who live in the house with a dog for their first year of life are much healthier than children who don't. We have always had dogs, our daughter has always had a great immune system. She, like me, rarely catches the various 'bugs' going around.
